Jason D. Cohen, MD, FACS, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in surgical and nonsurgical treatments for back, neck, and spine conditions and injuries. Dr. Cohen joined Professional Orthopaedic Associates in 2000.
After completing his bachelor's degree in biology at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, Dr. Cohen earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. He then pursued an internship and residency training in general surgery and orthopaedic surgery at Monmouth Medical Center - Barnabas Health in Long Branch, New Jersey. Following his residency, Dr. Cohen completed his fellowship training in spinal surgery at the Maryland Spine and Scoliosis Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
With specialized training in orthopaedic spine surgery, Dr. Cohen is an expert in spinal procedures, and his expertise includes sciatica, disk replacement, degenerative disorders, reconstructive surgery, herniated disks, and scoliosis.
Dr. Cohen is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Cohen enjoys racecar driving, playing golf, skiing, and cycling.
