Professional Orthopaedic Associates’ Fall Athletic Trainer Meeting Featured Dr. Ryan Plyler

Professional Orthopaedic Associates recently held their Fall Athletic Trainer Meeting on September 26, where fellowship-trained orthopaedic sports medicine surgeon Ryan J. Plyler, MD, provided an educational lecture on complex knee injuries in adolescent and adult athletes.

Offering Shore Conference athletic trainers a free opportunity to earn continuing education units, Dr. Plyler’s lecture focused on physical examination maneuvers to aid in the diagnosis of complex knee injuries, the difference between knee injuries in adolescent and adult athletes, and an overview of the latest surgical options available for injured athletes, including cartilage restoration and quadriceps tendon ACL autograft.

Professional Orthopaedic Associates is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc., to offer continuing education for certified athletic trainers.
